Pieper Hire, a Melbourne-based access hire company, is looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join their growing team. The company is dedicated to building long-term partnerships with its clients, and this new role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior management and directors to drive strategic growth. As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining existing client relationships, and contributing to the company’s mission of responsible and sustainable market change.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Proactively identify new business opportunities and build a strong client portfolio.

 

Balance competitive offers with profitable deals to benefit both the company and clients.

 

Stay informed about market activities and industry trends.

 

Participate in sales training events and seminars to enhance skills.

 

Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns and promotional activities.

 

Maintain accurate customer records and regularly update reports.

 

Continuously seek customer feedback to improve services.

 

Qualifications

 

Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the construction industry.

 

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

 

Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

 

Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail.

 

Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.

 

Experience

 

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business development or sales roles.

 

Experience in the construction industry is preferred.

 

Proven success in achieving and surpassing business targets.

 

Skills

 

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

 

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

 

Ability to develop strong client relationships and partnerships.
