Job Description/Overview:
Mitolo Family Farms is seeking Forklift Operators for our Virginia site in Adelaide’s northern suburbs, responsible for packing potatoes and onions. The position involves efficient transportation of goods using forklifts while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Day and afternoon shifts are available.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained in line with Mitolo Group policies.
Safely transport products to and from designated areas.
Move goods stacked on pallets across the site.
Stack empty pallets and ensure all loads are secure.
Perform pre-operational checks on forklifts.
Complete assigned tasks within the required timeframe.
Assist with additional duties as required.
Follow instructions from the Team Leader.
Qualifications:
Valid forklift licence.
Valid driver’s licence.
Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing is preferred.
Experience:
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
Skills:
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Positive attitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
Ability to work autonomously.
