About the Role:

As an HR Operations Specialist at Skuad, you will play a crucial role in managing smooth onboarding and offboarding processes. You will ensure compliance with labor laws, provide excellent candidate support, and collaborate closely with internal and external teams to ensure a seamless experience for new hires and departing employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Onboarding:
  • Prepare all necessary paperwork, documents, and systems access for new hires, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
  • Conduct orientation sessions to introduce employees to company policies, culture, and procedures.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to new hires to address any questions or concerns.
  1. Offboarding:
  • Advise on offboarding laws and regulations, ensuring compliance.
  • Coordinate with payroll and local vendors to ensure accurate final pay and deregistration for exiting employees.
  • Manage the offboarding process, including the collection of exit documentation and return of company assets.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure a smooth transition for departing employees.
  1. Compliance and Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of all onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
  • Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure seamless compliance.
  1. Candidate Experience:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for candidates during onboarding and offboarding.
  • Continuously gather feedback to improve the candidate experience.
  • Provide excellent customer service, promptly addressing candidate needs.

 

Ideal Candidate:

  • 5-7 years of experience in HR operations, onboarding, and offboarding processes, preferably in a staffing or HR setting.
  • Hands-on experience in policy administration, compensation, and payroll management across multiple geographies.
  • Proficient in using HRMS platforms and familiar with global HR practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting, working independently and managing multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Human Resources Management or a related field.
