Position Overview
We are looking for an Oncology Informatics Manager to join our Clinical Operations Team, primarily based in Latin America. In this role, you will establish meaningful connections with cancer patients and collaborate with various teams to facilitate their enrollment in suitable clinical trials. You will report directly to the Executive VP of Global Clinical Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Evaluation: Assess oncologic patients to determine suitability for clinical trials.
- CTMS Utilization: Use our Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) to match patients with appropriate clinical trials.
- Team Leadership: Lead the case management team across the United States and internationally.
- Reporting: Generate detailed reports on patient matching outcomes and present them to stakeholders.
- Quality Assessment: Evaluate and enhance the quality of work performed by case managers.
- Patient Follow-Up: Maintain communication with patients via phone, text, or email.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Medical degree with a minimum of two years of experience in patient care and research.
- Languages: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English; proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.
- Work Ethic: Prepared to work flexible hours and go the extra mile as required.
- Data Proficiency: Deep understanding of various healthcare data types, such as claims, EMR, and NGS testing, essential for patient and disease identification.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic computer operations and familiarity with common applications.
- Relationship Skills: Exceptional relationship-building capabilities.
- Communication Proficiency: Native or C2 (CEFR) level proficiency in English.
- Mindset: Proactive, passionate about client work and delivering quality, detail-oriented, comfortable with ambiguity, data-driven, and possessing a growth mindset.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
