Job Description/Overview:
1 Stop Healthcare is seeking dedicated Domiciliary Care Assistants in Clacton-on-Sea to support individuals living in a supported living service. Your role will involve visiting clients in their homes for 1-2 hours in the morning and evening, providing essential care to enhance their independence and quality of life. You will be caring for both a male and female resident. The male client speaks Hindi, Pashto, and Urdu, while the female client speaks Portuguese and is blind. Communication with both residents can be assisted using tools like flash cards and Google Translate.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, and grooming.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring clients receive proper nutrition.
Support with light household tasks, medication reminders, and emotional encouragement.
Salary: £11.44 to £14.00 per hour
Hours: Part-time, with flexible morning and evening shifts available.
Requirements:
A clear DBS check (assistance available if needed).
Care experience is helpful but not required, as training will be provided.
Compassionate, empathetic, and reliable, with a passion for helping others.
Language skills in Hindi, Pashto, Urdu, or Portuguese are a bonus but not essential (translation tools will be used).
