Job Overview:
Takeda Pharmaceutical is seeking an experienced leader to oversee their Singen Vaccines Manufacturing site, driving the transformation of the facility into the Global Hub for the supply of Takeda’s dengue vaccine, Qdenga. The Site Head will be responsible for building a strong team, ensuring product safety and regulatory compliance, managing financial plans, and leading operational excellence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and execute a strategy to establish Singen as the Global Hub for Qgenda.
Lead a team responsible for commercial supply operations and new project developments.
Ensure quality and regulatory compliance for all processes and products.
Host inspections by third parties and manage follow-up activities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
Maintain collaborative interactions at local and global levels across various functions.
Oversee the plant’s budget, financial plans, and headcount requirements.
Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and empowerment.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related Life Sciences field.
Minimum 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or related roles.
Strong knowledge of cGMP standards and EU/FDA-regulated production environments.
Experience in vaccine or biological product manufacturing is highly desirable.
Proven leadership and change management skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to align stakeholders at all levels.
Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.

Extensive experience in pharmaceutical production and quality management.
Demonstrated success in leading large-scale transformation and operational improvements.
Expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
