Job Description/Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst specialising in Inventory Management to improve inventory processes, optimize stock levels, and enhance supply chain efficiency. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive inventory optimization, reduce costs, and maintain product availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze inventory trends and provide actionable insights to optimize stock levels and prevent stockouts.
Develop and maintain forecasting models using statistical and predictive analytics.
Monitor inventory KPIs, such as turnover rates and replenishment lead times.
Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and warehouse teams to optimize inventory planning.
Perform data extraction, cleansing, and analysis from various systems like ERP and WMS.
Create dashboards and reports for real-time decision-making.
Propose process improvements to enhance inventory management practices.
Evaluate supplier performance to optimize lead times and reduce holding costs.
Analyze historical sales data and market trends to support inventory strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Data Analytics, or related fields.
Experience in data analytics, preferably within inventory management or supply chain.
Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
Experience with ERP or inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) preferred.
Knowledge of statistical analysis and demand planning.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with supply chain concepts such as EOQ and reorder points.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $81,000.00 per year
Expected Hours: 40 per week
