Job Overview:
Serengeti Care is hiring caregivers to assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living in their homes. The position offers weekly pay and requires a compassionate and dedicated individual to support elderly or disabled clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Assist with meal preparation and feeding
Perform light housekeeping tasks (laundry, cleaning, organising)
Monitor and report health or behaviour changes to supervisors
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
Skills Required:
Compassionate and caring nature
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Patience and understanding when working with elderly or disabled individuals
Physical stamina for lifting and mobility assistance
Experience in caregiving or healthcare (preferred)
Qualifications:
Must pass a background check
CPR/First Aid and Food Handlers certifications required within 14 days of hire
Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 4 – 40 hours per week
