Job Description/Overview:
Voyage Care is looking for caring and dedicated Support Workers to enhance the quality of life for the individuals in their residential service in Wellington. The home is situated in a beautiful setting with a hydrotherapy pool and sensory room. You will help individuals gain independence, teach life skills, assist with personal care, and encourage community engagement through various activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist individuals with personal care and daily routines
Teach new life skills and promote independence
Engage individuals in community activities, social outings, and recreational pursuits
Foster a friendly and supportive environment for the individuals
Salary: £12.20 per hour
Hours Per Week: 16 hours

Typical Shifts:
16 hours a week, working weekends 08:30 – 16:30

Qualifications:
No specific experience is required; however, candidates must demonstrate a passion for improving the lives of others and a genuine caring attitude.
Experience:
Experience with autism, acquired brain injury, and complex mental health needs is preferred. Familiarity with Positive Behaviour Support plans is also beneficial.
