Position: Maintenance Person

Job Description/Overview:
The Maintenance Person will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the facilities of the hotel, ensuring a clean and safe environment for guests. Tasks include general maintenance, minor repairs, and cleaning.
Key Responsibilities:
Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs
Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove dirt and debris
Empty trash cans and waste containers
Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
Perform minor repairs on appliances
Perform safety and security checks
Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Co-ordinate, assign, and review work
Qualifications:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience:
Experience an asset
