Job Description/Overview:
Boye Construction Limited is seeking three Construction Labourers and Helpers to assist with various construction tasks and contribute to positive environmental outcomes as part of a green job initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
– Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
– Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, and barricades.
– Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
– Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
– Clean and pile salvaged materials.
– Remove rubble and debris at construction sites.
– Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
Qualifications:
– Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
– Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a relevant field.
Work Conditions:
– On-site work with no remote option.
– Fast-paced and physically demanding environment with tight deadlines.
– Repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads (up to 23 kg or 50 lbs).
– Overtime may be required.
Salary:
$22.50 to $28.00 hourly (negotiable) for 37.5 to 40 hours per week.
