Job Description/Overview
The School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences is seeking an organised and motivated Administrative Assistant. This role involves providing administrative support for student placements and academic administration. The position will contribute to a high-quality student experience through superior customer service to students, staff, and academics.
Key Responsibilities
– Assist with student lifecycle record management.
– Support exam invigilation and student engagement events.
– Manage room bookings in the School’s specialist teaching rooms.
– Handle reception functions like managing school equipment borrowing.
– Perform general office duties such as maintaining teaching supplies, photocopying, and processing student applications for overseas professional registration.
Qualifications
– Diploma level qualification or equivalent combination of education and experience.
– High-level computing skills, preferably with Microsoft Office.
Experience
– Experience in customer service and administrative roles, ideally in an academic or educational setting.
Skills
– Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
– Ability to work in a team and manage competing demands.
– High attention to detail and accuracy in written work.
– Experience with university systems (e.g., SI-net, Business Objects) is desirable.
