Job Description/Overview:
The employer is looking for a truck driver to operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. No prior experience is required as the employer will provide training.
Key Responsibilities:
– Address customers’ complaints or concerns with professionalism
– Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations
– Load and unload goods
– Perform brake adjustments and preventive maintenance
– Inspect tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage
– Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
– Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption
– Handle emergency roadside repairs
Qualifications:
– Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
– Credentials:
– Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
– Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
Work Environment:
On-site work at the physical location. No option to work remotely. The position is considered a green job, contributing to positive environmental outcomes and helping Canada achieve its net-zero target.
Pay: $29.55 hourly / 40 to 60 hours per week

– Ability to carry up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
– Attention to detail with a large workload
