Job Description/Overview
We are seeking to recruit UK NMC Registered Nurses for this permanent position. The role involves delivering comprehensive care to oncology patients, following a structured induction and training program to enhance clinical skills in areas such as Venepuncture, Cannulation, and ECGs. You will participate in a 3-day Cancer Care course and 2-day SACT course, contributing to the completion of the UKONS SACT Competency passport.
Key Responsibilities:
– Deliver high-quality oncology nursing care.
– Engage in comprehensive induction and continuous training.
– Develop expertise in Venepuncture, Cannulation, and ECGs.
– Supervise junior staff and students to maintain high standards of care.
Qualifications:
– NMC Registered Nurse (UK)
Experience:
– Previous experience in oncology or acute hospital settings is preferred but not required, as a detailed training program is provided.
Skills:
– Strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to varied demands.
– Effective communication and leadership qualities to supervise junior staff.
