Key Responsibilities
As a care assistant in our day care team, you are responsible for the social care and support of our residents . You are in a lot of contact with them, have conversations and promote the retention of skills in individual and group activities. You accompany our residents on walks and ensure a varied daily routine by playing together, singing, doing crafts, painting and reading aloud. Meals are an important part of the day, and you accompany our residents during these too and promote their independence. Good care, support and care for us depends on regular exchange and mutual support within the team. You work hand in hand with your colleagues and promote our good cooperation. The special thing about the Samariterstift Gärtringen is that we work according to the concepts of kinaesthetics. This makes everyday life easier for us and our residents and is also fun. We would be delighted if you would take this path with us.
Qualifications
- are a trained care assistant according to § 43b SGB XI (formerly § 87b para. 3 SGB XI),
- have a genuine, deep interest in people and always see others as a whole
- want to support people together with us and enable participation
- Accept challenges with openness and actively participate in the search for meaningful solutions
- bring a positive attitude towards our diaconal mission
