Job Description/Overview:
The restaurant manager will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure the restaurant meets its financial and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
– Analyse and manage the restaurant’s budget
– Evaluate and modify daily operations, food preparation methods, and menu prices
– Monitor revenues and staff performance
– Plan, organise, and supervise daily operations, including staff scheduling and training
– Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
– Negotiate with suppliers and clients, and participate in marketing and event management
Qualifications:
– College/CEGEP education
Experience:
– 1 to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
Skills:
– Strong leadership, organisational, and customer service skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and multitask
