Job Description/Overview:
The Laundry Supervisor will manage laundry operations, including supervising staff, overseeing maintenance, and ensuring quality control. Responsibilities include arranging repairs, assisting clients, and managing inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
– Arrange for maintenance and repair work
– Assist clients/guests with special needs
– Oversee cleaning of specialty and difficult items
– Prepare and submit progress and other reports
– Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
– Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and quality
– Supervise operation of mechanical equipment and machinery
– Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
– Establish work schedules and procedures
– Supervise dry cleaning and laundry workers
Qualifications:
– Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience:
– 2 years to less than 3 years in a related field
Skills:
– Client focus
– Flexibility
– Ability to supervise and train staff
