Job Description/Overview:
The Construction Project Manager will oversee construction projects, including budget management, subcontractor supervision, and schedule planning. The role involves preparing and submitting project estimates, managing contracts, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates
– Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors
– Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, monitor progress
– Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions
– Manage project budgets and prepare reports
– Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors
– Ensure adherence to safety regulations
– Plan, organise, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations
Qualifications:
– College/CEGEP education
Experience:
– 2 years to less than 3 years in a related field
Skills:
– Budget management
– Contract negotiation
– Safety regulation adherence
– Communication with various stakeholders
