Job Overview:
Airbnb is seeking a Knowledge Strategist to join its Content & Knowledge Management team. This role focuses on optimising knowledge management processes and resources, ensuring that Community Support ambassadors have access to the most accurate and current information. The Knowledge Strategist will be responsible for shaping content delivery, managing large-scale projects, and improving user experiences across multiple knowledge platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
– Content Development: Collaborate with content developers and cross-functional teams to create technical documentation, release notes, and integrated product information.
– Project Management: Coordinate large-scale projects that involve changes across multiple knowledge and content platforms.
– Content Analysis: Analyse feedback and data to identify knowledge gaps and improve content effectiveness.
– Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between Knowledge Editors, outsourced operations, and Airbnb, providing regular updates to leadership.
– Strategic Planning: Lead the expansion of the multilingual knowledge base and manage resources for content deliverables.
Qualifications:
– Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Writing, Journalism, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
– Experience: 5+ years of experience in technical and instructional content writing.
– Skills: Strong project management abilities, exceptional organisational and multitasking skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with content management systems and data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Master’s degree in a related field.
– Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
– Experience in a tech or digital content company.
– Familiarity with multilingual environments.
