Job Description/Overview:
Safran Electrical & Power is seeking a Master Production Scheduler to establish and maintain the production build plan for a series of critical manufactured or procured items. In this role, you will:
– Define critical items and forecast demand.
– Perform capacity analysis to ensure resource availability.
– Propose modifications to production plans based on build requirements and demand forecasts.
– Translate anticipated demand into production and purchase orders.
– Coordinate with capacity and material analysis teams to resolve discrepancies.
As part of Safran’s North American headquarters in Denton, TX, you’ll be working in a facility recognized for its innovation and community involvement, supporting local organisations like United Way and Serve Denton. Safran has also been honoured with several prestigious awards, including the Boeing Supplier of the Year.
Key Responsibilities:
– Establish and maintain the production build plan.
– Conduct capacity analysis and resolve material and capacity discrepancies.
– Assist in the selection of master production schedule (MPS) item parameters.
– Translate demand forecasts into production and purchase orders
Qualifications Needed:
– Education: Preferably a bachelor’s degree in business, industrial engineering, or a related technical field.
– Experience: Minimum 2 years in a related role.
– Skills:
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
– Advanced knowledge of Production Scheduling.
– Strong verbal and written communication skills.
– Experience in preparing and presenting complex data to senior management.
