Job Description/Overview:
Our client, an international law firm based in Luxembourg, is one of the leading players in the Luxembourg legal services market. The firm is currently seeking a:
Business Development Manager (M/F), permanent full-time position (40 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development plans and budgets for Luxembourg for the relevant service lines.
- Schedule regular meetings with each team.
- Develop effective targeting strategies and lists.
- Coordinate travel to Luxembourg and other client development activities in collaboration with the client development team in London, New York, and Hong Kong.
- Build a network of BD peers within target clients and intermediaries.
- Actively identify and establish relationships with key sector associations, members, and networks to enhance the profile and development of key legal relationships for each service line.
- Submissions to directories such as Chambers, Legal 500, and ILFR, including reviewing and following up on results.
- Client presentations with partners
Qualifications needed
- You hold a relevant degree and/or qualification and have previous experience in a business development-focused role.
- Experience in developing and implementing BD initiatives in the professional services sector.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills in English and French (both oral and written).
