Job Overview:
Harmonia Holdings Group, LLC, an award-winning minority and female-owned federal government contractor, is seeking an AWS Cloud-Solutions Architect. The successful candidate will oversee and manage the development of enterprise cloud computing systems, including cloud application designs, approval plans, and storage management systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud computing, with extensive experience in designing and implementing production-scale applications in secure, regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities:
– Implement best practices for cloud management and monitoring for security, diagnostics, and cost management.
– Develop and automate DevSecOps Jenkins/CloudBees pipelines for serverless AWS infrastructure microservices.
– Work in AWS GovCloud, adhering to government security requirements and specifications for cloud architectures.
– Implement and oversee cloud computing strategy and delivery of cloud solutions across multiple projects.
– Apply knowledge of IT infrastructure tools, including Cloud resource provisions, deployment, microservices, and DevSecOps.
– Work independently to evaluate issues and address questions from internal and external stakeholders regarding cloud implementation.
– Apply security best practices to development build processes and dependency management.
– Consult with project development teams and key stakeholders to design cloud infrastructures and pipelines that support project needs.
– Create documentation that clearly communicates architectural decisions, impacts, and usage best practices.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
– U.S. citizenship and Public Trust Clearance is required.
– BA/BS or equivalent experience with 7+ years of relevant experience.
– Cloud Professional Certification, such as AWS Solutions Architect.
Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
– Multiple years of hands-on experience supporting AWS and/or other cloud implementations.
– Familiarity with monitoring and optimization tools such as DataDog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
– Knowledge and experience in automating cloud infrastructure creation using IaC tools like Serverless Framework, Terraform, CloudFormation, and Git.
– Strong cloud deployment, operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting skills.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in conveying technical information to non-technical team members.
