Job Description/Overview:
Travellers Autobarn, a campervan rental company, is seeking a Reservations Consultant to join our team. You will be responsible for promoting and booking campervan experiences across Australia, New Zealand, USA, and Japan, ensuring customer satisfaction through direct bookings and travel agents.
Key Responsibilities:
– Answering inquiries and booking campervans via phone, email, and web chat (inbound only)
– Providing quotes and ensuring high-quality reservation handling
– Networking with travel agents worldwide
– General administrative duties
Qualifications needed:
– Well-travelled around Australia, New Zealand, or USA
– Advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
– Excellent customer service and reservation skills
– Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute
– Strong verbal and written communication skills (additional language skills, particularly a European language, are advantageous but not required)
– Full working rights in Australia
– Valid driver’s licence
Experience:
– Relevant experience in customer service and reservations is preferred, particularly in travel or tourism
Skills:
– Familiarity with the “youth tourism” market
– Strong organisational and communication abilities
– Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
