Job Description/Overview:
A busy family in Dubai is seeking a fully trained, experienced, and caring Daily SEN (Special Educational Needs) Nanny for their 6-year-old twins. The role involves primarily supporting the boy, who has hyperactivity, developmental delays, and ADHD, alongside another nanny who will assist with the girl. The position includes international travel and time in London, with accommodation provided in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide care for 6-year-old twins, with a focus on the boy who has SEN needs
– Support with behavior management and communication, liaising with therapists
– Source educational resources and plan activities tailored to the children’s needs
– Establish and maintain schedules and routines, including educational and recreational activities
– Coordinate with parents and therapists to ensure the child’s needs are met
– Manage travel arrangements and adapt to spontaneous travel
Qualifications:
– Ideally 6-10 years of experience in a similar role
– Training in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) is advantageous
– Experience working with children with SEN and in intergenerational family setups is a plus
Experience:
– Proven experience in working with children with SEN
– Demonstrable experience in managing routines and educational planning
Skills:
– High energy, common sense, and strong communication skills
– Ability to adapt to flexible schedules and travel requirements
Salary and Benefits:
– Salary dependent on experience and qualifications
– Accommodation provided in Dubai (Jumeirah Lake Tower area)
– A driver will transport the nanny to and from work
– Visa provided for working in Dubai
– Committed to a minimum of 2 years
