Job Description/Overview:
The Group Senior Manager Interior Design will design and oversee the implementation of interior design projects from start to finish, ensuring that specifications meet business unit requirements and high-quality standards are maintained. This role involves project management, design development, market research for new and sustainable materials, and ensuring adherence to project budgets and schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop visual concepts using SketchUp.
– Enhance project visuals with Photoshop.
– Create shop drawings, layouts, and designs using AutoCAD.
– Manage projects from planning through completion.
– Execute construction-related tasks seamlessly.
– Research and incorporate new and sustainable interior materials.
– Conduct value engineering on projects.
– Prepare in-house project specifications and tender documents.
– Evaluate and monitor project quality and progress.
– Conduct site visits and finalize cost and work schedules.
– Ensure safety and adherence to DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics.
Desired Candidate Profile:
– Nationality: Any
– Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
– Experience: 4 – 6 years in a similar role
– Skills: Proficiency in Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, MS Office, AutoCAD, Google SketchUp
– Attributes: Creative and analytical thinking, ability to handle ambiguity, and effective communication skills.
