Job Description/Overview:
We are a large, family-owned long day care service located in Geelong, featuring spacious rooms and state-of-the-art facilities. We are seeking passionate, qualified Diploma Educators to work alongside a team of dedicated educators and assistants, providing a stimulating and inclusive environment that aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Framework (NQF).
Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with fellow educators to create an engaging learning environment
– Foster children’s imagination, curiosity, and creativity
– Build respectful and positive relationships with children, families, and staff
– Support sustainable practices and advocate for nature play
– Maintain a solid understanding of the programming and planning cycle
Qualifications needed:
– Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA Approved)
– Extensive experience in childcare and early learning sectors
– Strong communication skills
– Ability to develop positive relationships with children, families, and staff
Experience:
– Experience in the early childhood education sector, with a solid understanding of childcare programming and planning
Skills:
– Strong organisational and communication skills
– Creativity in fostering children’s development
– Adaptability and flexibility with shift schedules
