Job Description/Overview:
Speechify Inc is expanding and seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join their Platform team. This role is essential for developing and maintaining critical backend features, including APIs and B2B solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience with TS/Node, GCP, and cloud providers, and will be involved in optimizing performance and aligning backend architecture with product strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs, including Public TTS API, Internal APIs like Payment, Subscription, Auth, and Consumption Tracking.
– Oversee backend API landscape, optimizing for performance and maintainability.
– Collaborate on B2B solutions, focusing on customization and integration needs for enterprise clients.
– Work with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with overall product strategy and user experience.
Qualifications needed:
– Proven experience in backend development with TS/Node (required); Go (nice to have).
– Experience with GCP and knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
– Efficiency in task prioritization based on urgency and impact.
– Preferred: Experience with Docker and containerized deployments, proficiency in deploying high availability applications on Kubernetes.
Experience:
– Experience in backend development and API design with a focus on high performance and scalability.
Skills:
– Expertise in TS/Node and familiarity with Go.
– Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
– Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
– Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
