Job Description/Overview:
Learner Education is seeking qualified and enthusiastic Algebra tutors to join their remote team. Tutors will provide 1-on-1 live online tutoring in Algebra and other math topics from 6th Grade to College level, with a focus on personalized lesson plans and effective communication with students and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
– Communicate professionally and timely with Learners, students, and clients.
– Assess and develop customized lesson plans based on student needs.
– Deliver engaging instruction and monitor student progress.
– Collaborate with parents, teachers, and stakeholders for student success.
– Manage your schedule effectively to accommodate student needs.
Qualifications needed:
– Bachelor’s degree required
– 3+ years of professional tutoring experience
– 1+ years of professional online tutoring experience
– Fast, reliable internet connection
– Computer/laptop, stylus pen, and headphones
– Professional, quiet environment for tutoring sessions
– U.S.-based bank account and valid SSN
– Strong subject matter expertise
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Effective time management skills
Experience:
– Previous tutoring experience, particularly in online settings
