Job Description/Overview:
Groove, a top-rated help desk software company, is seeking a Content Writer to join its growing team. Reporting directly to the VP of Content, you will be responsible for writing SEO-optimized blog posts that engage readers and convert visitors into trial signups and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
– Write 2-3 engaging, actionable, and conversion-focused blog posts per week.
– Capture and edit screenshots for blog posts.
– Ensure content is well-optimized for SEO.
– Research competitors and accurately position Groove’s features and benefits above competitors.
– Monitor search engine rankings and update/optimize existing content as needed.
Qualifications Needed:
– At least 2 years of professional writing experience (in-house or freelance).
– Proven experience in writing persuasive, conversion-focused content.
– Basic image editing skills (screenshot capture, resizing, cropping).
– Strong SEO knowledge, including keyword research and content optimization.
– Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines while juggling multiple tasks.
– Previous freelance or remote work experience.
