Job Description/Overview:
The Public Relations (PR) Manager at Pax8 is responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating communications, content, and messaging strategies and tactics. The role involves working closely with the External Communications team, Marketing, Sales, Vendor Business, Pax8 Studios, senior leaders, and other departments to deliver compelling and relevant messages to the market. The PR Manager should have excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills and be experienced in project management.
Key Responsibilities:
– Support the development and implementation of public relations strategies.
– Assist in creating press releases, thought leadership content, awards entries, and other written materials.
– Manage the Pax8 newsroom website to drive brand visibility.
– Collaborate with public relations agencies to support brand messaging and reach key audiences.
– Monitor media coverage, track Pax8 mentions, and industry trends.
– Maintain organized files and records related to public relations, awards, and thought leadership content.
– Research and identify award opportunities that showcase the company’s technology innovations and industry leadership.
– Coordinate and manage award applications, submissions, and follow-ups.
– Provide coordination, administration, and reporting tasks to ensure projects are organized and efficient.
– Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications needed:
– At least 3 years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related field, with technology industry knowledge preferred.
– Proven track record of successful public relations campaigns and initiatives.
– Excellent writing and editing skills.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and social media platforms.
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken.
– Ability to manage multiple priorities in a constantly changing environment.
– Experience with media monitoring tools and award application platforms is a plus.
Experience:
– Minimum of 3 years in public relations, communications, or a related field.
Skills:
– Writing, editing, proofreading, project management, media monitoring, social media.
