Job Description/Overview:
RICE, a unique not-for-profit organization, seeks a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join their Creche & Playday team. The role involves traveling across rural and remote South Australia, providing various early childhood services, and attending community events.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide early childhood education and care as part of the traveling playgroup and Outback Childcare program
– Regularly travel and stay away for short periods, including weekends
– Participate in community events and provide services in isolated areas
– Ensure a high standard of care and education for children
Qualifications needed:
– Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (highly desirable) or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
Experience:
– Positive attitude, flexibility, and eagerness to learn
– Experience working with children
– Current driver’s license
Skills:
– Ability to travel and drive long distances
– Strong teamwork and initiative
– Relevant certifications (WWCC, First Aid & CPR in an Education Setting, RRHAN-EC)
