Job Description/Overview:  

Grant Thornton Luxembourg is seeking an Assistant Manager / Manager for Central Administration. The role involves supporting the head of operations, managing accounting tasks, and leading small-scale projects. 

 

Key Responsibilities:  

– Perform/review accounting and administrative tasks.  

– Review bookkeeping and reporting; provide feedback and coaching.  

– Arrange standard cosec tasks and issue engagement letters.  

– Establish effective client relationships and lead improvement projects.  

– Deputize in the absence of the department head.

 

Qualifications needed:  

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting.  

– Fluent in English; French/German is an asset.  

– Excellent understanding of fund and corporate processes.  

– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.  

 

Experience:  

7+ years in a Fiduciary or Financial services organization, ideally in Luxembourg.

 

Skills:  

– Organizational and problem-solving skills  

– Team spirit and ability to work across diverse teams  

– Knowledge of TA, Cosec, Financial statements, and Tax returns
