Job Description/Overview:

This opportunity working as a Rehabilitation Consultant stands out as you will also get exposure delivering some of IPAR’s innovative services including our pain education Re-thinking Recovery program. This program centers around using virtual reality and modern pain science to help people understand pain and retrain their brain and body. Re-thinking recovery is used in collaboration with a client’s current healthcare approach and will involve engagement with the entire treating team to ensure that the service is focused on the client.
Key Responsibilities
- Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks)
- Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
- Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs
- Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals
- Completing a variety of assessments using your clinical and discipline specific allied health skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments.
- Deliver our innovative virtual reality pain education program, Re-thinking Recovery
