Job Description/Overview:
The live-in caregiver will be responsible for providing personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily activities to adults, persons with disabilities, or special needs children. The role involves light housekeeping, meal preparation, administering medications, and assisting clients with personal hygiene and mobility.
Key Responsibilities:
– Administer medications
– Assist clients in water (e.g., pool)
– Assist with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
– Feed or assist in feeding clients
– Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
– Provide companionship and personal care
– Shop for food and household supplies
– Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Qualifications needed:
– Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
– 1 to 2 years of related experience
– First Aid Certificate
– Experience with special needs children and assisting with mobility is preferred
Experience:
– Experience with adults, persons with disabilities, and special needs children
