Job Description/Overview:
Harewood Garage is seeking a skilled Mechanic/Technician to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis. The role involves general automotive repairs and diagnostics in a supportive and friendly work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general repairs including fitting, servicing, timing belt, and clutch replacements. Welding skills are advantageous.
- Conduct diagnostics and electrical work.
- Work collaboratively with team members and provide excellent customer service.
- Opportunity for training to become a MOT tester.
Qualifications needed:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in heavy lifting and using power tools.
- Ability to maintain, weld, and assemble automotive components.
- Competence in using hand tools and interpreting mechanical schematics.
- Driving Licence required.
Experience:
Demonstrated experience in equipment repair and exceptional customer service.
Skills:
– Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
– Good teamwork and communication skills.
