Job Description/Overview:
Venatu Automotive is seeking a dedicated HGV / Trailer Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on heavy goods vehicles. This role is essential for ensuring vehicle reliability and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs in line with VOSA standards.
- Perform diagnostics and defect rectifications.
- Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections.
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and manage inventory.
- Handle tail lift repairs, curtain repairs, axle work, ABS/EBS work.
Qualifications needed:
– NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline preferred.
– Comprehensive vehicle maintenance knowledge.
– Commitment to health and safety standards.
Experience:
– Demonstrated experience in the HGV / Trailer Technician field.
Skills:
– Ability to perform diagnostics and repair various HGV and trailer issues.
– Strong commitment to health and safety standards.
