Key Responsibilities
Our Team Lead – Facilities is responsible for the planning, scheduling and effective delivery of all servicing and maintenance and compliance certification in coordination with upgrade project activities at Launch Complex 1, Mahia.
These key areas are critical for achieving the scheduled launch cadence and require a well-managed preventative and corrective maintenance program, in coordination with planned facility upgrades and expansion projects. This will require the incumbent to be a flexible planner with good interpersonal skills to manage contractor availability and RL internal schedules, in order to produce a program to meet all required LC1 outcomes
Qualifications needed
- Aeronautical experience or a trade background
- Multi-functional workshop management
- Experience with maintenance of industrial processing plants
- Experience with maintenance of equipment in marine environments
Experience:
- 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Implementation and operation of CMMS system
- Takes initiative and can work unsupervised
- Remains calm under pressure
- Excellent communicator
- Experience in 5S environment
- Must be skilled with Gantt charts, planning software and standard Microsoft office applications.
- Staff leadership and management experience
