Job Description/Overview:
SimpleTiger is seeking a Content Specialist to join their growing Content Marketing team. This role involves managing digital content across various platforms, including conducting keyword research, coordinating graphic design projects, and building content calendars. The Content Specialist will work closely with the Head of Content and other team members to ensure an effective content strategy, while also supporting SimpleTiger’s own content initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
– Content Keyword Research: Conduct comprehensive keyword research using tools like Ahrefs to identify opportunities for new content and optimizations.
– Content Calendars: Build and maintain content calendars based on approved keywords and client goals.
– Content Audits: Review and suggest updates for existing content to improve engagement and SEO performance.
– Competitor Analysis: Perform competitor analysis to identify content gaps and opportunities.
– Graphic Design Coordination: Manage the process of creating custom images and designs for clients.
– Proofreading and Editing: Proofread and edit content to ensure clarity and alignment with the agency’s style guide.
– Content Management: Upload and configure content on SimpleTiger’s CMS.
– Client Content Organization: Organize and maintain client content folders for consistency and ease of access.
– Document Template Creation: Create and maintain document templates for uniformity in content production.
Must-Haves:
– SEO Knowledge: Foundational understanding of SEO.
– Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Self-Motivation and Organization: Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
– Writing and Editing Skills: Ability to produce and edit high-quality content.
– Research Skills: Ability to quickly understand clients’ businesses and their target customers.
– Team Collaboration: Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
– Positive Attitude and Eagerness to Learn: A positive outlook and willingness to learn and improve.
Nice-to-Haves:
– Copywriting and Content Editing Experience: Experience in copywriting and content editing, particularly with SaaS or B2B companies.

– Versatility in Thinking: Ability to apply both data-driven and creative approaches.

Compensation & Benefits:
– Salary Range: $50,000 – $55,000 annually
