Job Description/Overview:
The position involves operating and maintaining trucks to transport goods, performing inspections and maintenance, and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of cargo.
Key Responsibilities:
– Load and unload goods
– Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
– Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
– Perform emergency roadside repairs
– Perform preventive maintenance
– Receive and relay information to central dispatch
– Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
– Tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo
Qualifications Needed:
– Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
– Certificates, Licenses, Memberships, and Courses:
– Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
– Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
Experience :
– Experience: Will train
-Documentation Knowledge:
– Driver logbook

– Driving record check (abstract)
