Job Description/Overview:
Bayside Signature Builders is seeking a skilled carpenter or lead hand carpenter (sub-contractor) to join our team. Based in Wynnum/Manly, we specialize in renovations, new builds, and are expanding into the commercial sector with office fit-outs. We value high-quality work and offer a great work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
– Perform carpentry tasks on renovations, new builds, and office fit-outs
– Lead and coordinate with other team members as a lead hand carpenter
– Ensure high standards of workmanship
Qualifications needed:
– Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card)
– Qualification in carpentry preferred
– Valid Australian driver’s license
Experience:
– Varying levels of experience are acceptable
– Experience in the construction industry is required
Skills:
– Ability to work independently and lead a team
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
– Good organizational skills
