Job Description/Overview
Safran Landing Systems is the world leader in aircraft landing and braking systems, contributing to safer, more sustainable aviation. We design, test, manufacture, and assemble landing gear for commercial aircraft, including Airbus and Boeing, and UK military aircraft such as the Eurofighter Typhoon.
Key Responsibilities
– Serve as the industrial focal point between the IPT & operations.
– Escalate industrial blockers to the IPT as needed.
– Cascade IPT requirements impacting industrial operations.
– Interface with customers as required by programs.
– Lead the continuous improvement of industrial performance (delivery, quality) for the program.
– Collect, consolidate, and assess risks, and develop mitigation plans.
– Manage monthly OvRMs during transfers (internal & external).
– Ensure recovery action plans are consistent and robust.
– Verify manufacturing and assembly plans align with defined rules.
– Propose buffering policy adjustments and evolutions to the industrial scheme.
– Lead WHAT-IF scenario assessments.
– Coordinate with Spare PPM for Spare & Dual parts (Spare & OE).
– Accountable for costs for the production scope of work for its programs.
– Participate in MTP preparation & consolidation by framing budgets and defining the vision of industrial scheme evolution.
Qualifications needed
– Significant experience in a similar project management role.
– Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
– Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
– Effective written/oral communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
– Knowledge of configuration management and ERP systems.
– Basic knowledge of MRP II processes.

– Proven track record in managing industrial performance and cost accountability in a production environment.
