Key Responsibilities
- Conduct calculations and feasibility studies for energy projects in collaboration with the project manager
- Enter the energy characteristics of projects into specialized software
- Perform measurements of surfaces and energy volumes
- Calculate the thermal transmission coefficients (U) of walls and study the risks of overheating
- Update the energy characteristics of projects in the appropriate software
- Provide administrative support for various procedures depending on the regions
Qualifications needed
Degree in electromechanics, thermal engineering, HVAC, energy, or an equivalent option
Skills:
- Good knowledge of construction techniques and energy systems
- Knowledge of PEB legislation is considered an asset
- Organized, rigorous, with very good mathematical skills
- Energetic, flexible, and able to take initiative
- Ability to read and interpret technical plans
- Knowledge of multidisciplinary special techniques
- Proficiency in necessary software including AutoCAD, Excel, Word, PEB Software, SketchUp
