Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage BIM models for special technical systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) using software like Revit, AutoCAD MEP.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of technical systems into the overall project model.
- Prepare and maintain technical documents, plans, and specifications associated with technical systems.
- Perform quality checks to verify BIM model compliance with project standards and industry norms.
- Provide technical support to project teams and clients regarding the use and interpretation of BIM models.
- Update models based on design changes and feedback from site teams.
- Train and mentor other team members on BIM best practices and modeling software usage.
Qualifications needed
Degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, or a similar technical field.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in BIM modeling in the special techniques sector (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP.
Skills:
- Knowledge of construction standards and BIM standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in French and English; knowledge of German or Luxembourgish is a plus.
