Job Description/Overview:
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor specialized in MEP (mechanical electrical plumbing) EN/FR for our client, an international company working on large-scale construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible to review construction plans and preparing quantity requirements;
- Check-in detail the accounting submitted by Subcontractors for “unit prices Subcontracts”;
- In particular, verify quantities (to be calculated in accordance with the drawings issued for construction and in accordance with the Methods of Measurement defined in the Subcontract), verify the correct application of unit prices (to be in accordance with the contract price list, and Subcontract requirements), verify the correctness of all calculations (arithmetic);
- Assist Technical Office Manager/Cost Control in preparation of budget documents;
- Assist Technical Office Manager/Cost Control in the evaluation and verification of extra work.
Work is generally conducted in an office environment. However, duties may occasionally involve working outside with potential exposure to Construction site environment.
Qualifications needed
- BSc/BA in Mechanical or Electrical engineering;
Experience:
- Proven experience in projects with Quantity Surveyor role (5 years min.);
- In-depth understanding of technical specifications, drawings, materials;
Skills:
- Good knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD;
- Strong analytical skills;
- BSc/BA in Mechanical or Electrical engineering;
- Fluent in English and French, Turkish is an asset.
Additional information:
The position is a permanent contract located in Luxembourg. The salary package for this position is: €60,000-72,000 gross per annum (5k-6k per month), luncheon voucher (18x €10.80), company phone with sim card.
