Job Description/Overview:
We are looking for our client, an international company working on large-scale construction projects located in Luxembourg city, an experienced Mechanical Engineer in construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare project specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) according to specifications and Project Quality Assurance and Control System for Mechanical Works
- Review and approve the project QC plans, instructions, procedures for Mechanical Works
- Manage inspections, tests and work according to ITPs for Mechanical Works
- Coordinate and supervise the subcontractors, in order to ensure documents and work compliance with the contracts and quality, and project structural integrity with construction team.
- Advise the staff to implement product quality, issue reports on quality problems and issue / follow-up non-compliance with standards or regulatory requirements.
- Follow up Calibration Log for Inspection and Testing Equipment for Mechanical Works
- Logging, scanning, and maintaining records and documents, pertinent to QA/QC activities.
Qualifications needed
- B.Sc./BA in engineering, building science or relevant field
- The position holder must have knowledge of Quality Inspections and Testing
Experience:
- Proven experience of delivering projects of similar nature, or having completed at least one project from start to finish
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material and project management principles.
Skills:
- Familiarity with HSE and quality standards
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Fluency in English and French
