Job Description/Overview:
Unichem Taumarunui Pharmacy is currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team. We are a busy local community pharmacy and consider our relationship with our patients to be the single most important aspect of our work. The ideal candidate will share this view and want to be part of a pharmacy where our rapport with our customers is paramount.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing all aspects of dispensing under pharmacist supervision
- Sorting and filing prescriptions
- Stock maintenance
- Liaising with medical centres
- Serving customers and providing healthcare advice and product recommendations
Qualifications needed
- Pharmacy tertiary qualifications and/or 1-2 year work experience related to the role is required
Skills:
- Flexibility and open-mindedness with the ability to prioritize
- Self-reliance and the ability to problem-solve
- An eye for detail and the ability to cope with pressure
- Accuracy, efficiency, and a quick learner
- Excellent communication and strong relationship-building skills
- Proactive, friendly, and approachable team player
- Qualifications and/or work experience related to the role
Benefits
$29.66 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
