Job Description/Overview:
Our client, a family-owned fiduciary near Bettembourg, is seeking a part-time fund accountant specialized in alternative funds. If you wish to join a small, dynamic team and work in a pleasant and flexible environment, this opportunity is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive management of a private equity/real estate client portfolio
- Calculation and reconciliation of the Net Asset Value (NAV)
- Preparation and review of financial statements
- Establishment and monitoring of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Collaboration with external auditors for annual audits
- Handling fund transactions (capital calls, distributions, etc.)
- Managing investor relations and responding to their inquiries
Qualifications needed
Bachelor’s degree
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably in private equity
- Proficiency in French, knowledge of English is an asset
- Knowledge of current accounting standards and regulations
Skills:
Skills in financial analysis and reporting
Diligence, autonomy, and team spirit
Good communication and interpersonal skills
