Job Description/Overview:
Are you a proven Engineer (Fitter/ Turner/ Welder) with a passion for equipment and fixed plant assets and keen to work onsite in a mining environment. Do you have a passion for ensuring that the job is done right, first time and like to think outside the box? Ready to take on the next challenge in your career and looking for the vehicle to take you there? Want to be part of a team where is feels like you are appreciated and respected each day and wok with a close knit family based team? Qualifications needed
- Trade Qualified Fitter/Turner/ Welder with proven experience working with Construction Equipment | Heavy Transport or Mining Equipment
- Have a strong eye for detail or find yourself constantly thinking “how we could make that work better for an operator?”
- Have experience operating a lathe and creating/engineering bespoke pieces to improve equipment for the operator
- Positive – forward thinking & passionate about your role in the team
- A desire to be part of a small team and a proven ability to communicate both up and down
Welding Certs and proven experience machining parts and lathe experience would be highly desired.
