Job Description:
Global Blacks Department Store is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Editor & Manager to oversee all content creation and management across our social media platforms. You will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance brand visibility, engagement, and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and growth across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and TikTok.
– Curate, create, and edit high-quality, engaging content including text, images, videos, and graphics.
– Manage day-to-day operations of social media accounts, including scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and engaging with followers.
– Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to align social media content with overall campaigns and product launches.
– Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications, incorporating best practices to optimize our social media presence.
– Analyze social media metrics and provide regular reports on performance, identifying insights and areas for improvement.
– Engage with influencers, brand ambassadors, and partners to expand reach and build relationships.
– Develop and manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation and performance tracking.
– Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to ensure a competitive social media strategy.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
– Proven experience as a social media manager, editor, or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful social media campaigns.
– Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Adobe Creative Suite).
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
– Strong understanding of social media metrics, analytics, and best practices.
– Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
– Passion for fashion and lifestyle trends, with an understanding of retail and e-commerce landscapes.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience in the fashion or lifestyle industry.
– Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and digital marketing strategies.
– Ability to create and edit short-form video content.
