Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Conducting variance analysis and budget vs. actual comparisons
- Developing recommendations to optimize financial processes
- Ensuring compliance with Luxembourg corporate law and relevant regulations
- Collaborating with the board of directors and providing relevant financial reports and analyses
- Supporting the preparation of ad-hoc analyses and management reports
- Developing and maintaining the internal control system
- Close collaboration with other departments such as financial accounting
Qualifications needed
- Completed degree in business administration with a focus on finance/controlling or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in an industrial or logistics company, alternatively in an auditing firm
- In-depth knowledge of Luxembourg corporate law
- Experience in collaborating with the board of directors or other leadership bodies
- Analytical and structured work approach with a strong affinity for numbers
- Strong communication skills, initiative, and high problem-solving competence
- Proficiency in German and English, French is an advantage
